For those of you who don't know how Linda Gene was named, it started when Marty was 14, he was a member of Huggins Battery, Commander Gene Griffin took Marty in under his wing and taught him the ropes, that's the Gene part.
The Linda part is named after Linda Gatlin, Lessie Fisher's sister. Chris Fisher had this gun made to replace the one he and Linda had and sold. Linda was so sick when it was finished I am not sure if she got to shoot her or not. So out of respect for these two special people, our family decided to name her after them. So when we roll her out, you can bet they are with us.
